Taiwan-based Nanowin Technology and Baiquan USA Investment Group plan to establish a copper indium/gallium selenide (CIGS) thin-film solar cell project with an investment of $98 million in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, reports solarbe.com. Expected to begin construction before the end of August, the project will have registered capital of $90 million and mainly be composed of a 35MW CIGS production line, said the report.
